What to Expect during your First Visit to Bandeen Orthodontics
At Bandeen Orthodontics, we make sure that you experience the best possible care as soon as you walk through the door. Whether you need retainers, braces, or other orthodontic care – we make you a priority at our practice. During your first visit to Bandeen Orthodontics, we will go over a couple of things to learn more about your individual concerns and what the best course of action will be. There is no cost for your initial visit.
Pictures
When you first arrive, we will take some pictures of your teeth and smile. It can be difficult to see everything in a mirror, so using this method lets us go over your teeth with you. Seeing a picture makes it easier to see everything in your smile and allows us to go over the best service options you have for orthodontic care.
Complimentary X-Ray
After we go over your pictures, we might recommend an x-ray. This will vary on the severity of your teeth and what we were able to understand through the pictures. Not everyone needs x-rays during their first visit, but it is an option.
Doctor Consultation
Following the pictures and/or x-ray, you will have a one-on-one discussion with a doctor to go over the treatment options for your teeth. We will go over the reasons for choosing a certain procedure and explain why it is necessary. During this, we will answer any questions that you have about your orthodontic care and guide you in your decision for the best method.
Review Options
After you have talked with a doctor, our treatment coordinator will go over your treatment options with you. They will answer any additional questions you have and talk about financial information regarding your care. If you are ready to get treatment during your first visit, then we can get you started after our initial consultation! We will take the x-rays (if they have not already been taken) and computer modeling, to save you another trip to our facility.
Once we complete your first visit, we will schedule additional visits depending on the orthodontic treatment you need. It will vary per braces treatment, so if you have Damon braces or Invisalign, we will go over what will be necessary, but appointments typically fall every four to eight weeks and last 30-35 minutes. We do bill insurance, as well as have a flexible payment plan and family discounts! If you feel uncomfortable coming in for your first consultation, we do offer virtual consultations for your convenience.
