Examinations

During your first meeting with us we will go over our financial information and get you set up to begin treatment within the next few days. When receiving treatment, our appointments are typically scheduled every 4-8 weeks for regular check-ups and other required procedures. Each appointment only takes about 30-45 minutes depending on what is being done. You will not be charged for our complimentary diagnostics and x-rays either – nor do you need a referral from your dentist for our treatment.

Payment Procedures

At Bandeen Orthodontics in Kalamazoo we do bill your insurance, but we do not participate with insurance. We do have payment plans and offer family discounts if there are multiple members of the family receiving treatment! Our flexible payment plan offers 0% financing for most patients who choose to pay over a period, as well as affordable plans can be extended past your completion of treatment. We help you choose the financial plan that works the best for your circumstances and have discounts for full payments prior to the start of treatment or for large down payments, making our treatment work for you. We also help with insurance claims and have active military discounts.

Braces and Invisalign

We use only the best technology and practice at Bandeen Orthodontics. This means that we utilize the Damon System and Insignia Custom Smile Design. The Damon system allows us to do away with palatal extenders and non-surgical treatment for adults, so no unnecessarily painful procedures. Though, with this system we cannot provide colorful braces – only the standard metal. With the Insignia custom smile design, we can plan your treatment results prior to the braces being placed. We don’t just stick on braces, we plan out every step!

Dependent on the situation, ask about our Invisalign option and we can see if it could work for you. This method is especially ideal for adults who only need moderate straightening done to their teeth.
